Jennifer Matthews, Sonographer
Jennifer moved to Houston when she was 8 years old. Her medical journey began at the age of 14 as a candy striper at The Woman’s Hospital of Texas. Fast forward a couple of decades when she found the time to go back to school. She then attended Lone Star College in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program and received an AAS degree in Echocardiography (RDCS) with a specialty in vascular sonography (RVT).
Jennifer has been married to her husband, Dan since 1993 and they have two children, 3 big rescue mutts, 2 cats, and a fish. She enjoys DIY projects and the challenge gardening in the Houston heat. She mostly enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She can ride a unicycle and juggle, but not at the same time. Jennifer feels very fortunate to have found Texas Endovascular and made it her work home. She says it feels like a big extended family from patients to providers and everyone in between, where everyone always has the other person’s best interests in mind.
